FOR GYMNASTICS PARENTS
The Chalk Circle is a private social network built only for competitive gymnasts, girls and boys. Every gymnast is verified through USA Gymnastics, there are no public comments and no algorithm, and every score your gymnast posts builds a recruiting profile college coaches can see. It's free to join.
Every gymnast account starts with a photo of a current USA Gymnastics membership card, and accounts are reviewed before they're approved. That's what keeps out fake profiles and adults posing as kids. It's free, and it doesn't ask for anything beyond what you'd show a meet director.
Training clips are only visible to signed-in members your gymnast is connected to: teammates, their gym and the people they follow and friend. The only thing that can be seen outside the app is a competition score your gymnast chooses to make public, so college coaches can find it. There's no public comment section and no algorithm deciding what shows up.
Every meet score and training clip your gymnast posts files itself into a recruiting profile, in order, with real scores attached. When it's time to email college coaches, you send one link instead of a stack of attachments. Our free guides cover the rest: when coaches can reply, what video to film and what to ask on a visit.
Women's and men's gymnastics, Xcel through Elite. Vault, bars, beam and floor, plus pommel horse, rings, parallel bars and high bar. Every competitive gymnast gets the same safe space and the same recruiting tools.
The Chalk Circle started as our 13-year-old daughter Emma's idea. She's a competitive gymnast who wanted a place to share her routines without random comments and strangers watching. So we built it with her, for every gymnast and every parent who has felt the same way.
